A Computer Science researcher and engineer dedicated to advancing the field through a unique blend of academic expertise and hands-on deep technical industry experience. With over fifteen years of experience, I've worn multiple hats: University Professor, Researcher, IT Architect, CTO and Full-Stack Engineer for multiple organizations. I am currently stationed as a researcher at the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). My current research interests focuses on neuro-symbolic AI, bridging symbolic representationand neural learning through semantic-web frameworks and knowledge graphs, vector-based representations, and reproducible machine-learning processes. additionally have a small room in my heart for other computer-science-related domains such as distributed computing, and high-performance computing.
